Intuitive Art
What is Intuitive Art? It's about being in the present moment and being curious. Then following the "nudges", "pings", sparks-of-insight that pop up. It's painting from the inner wisdom, the inner knowing that we all have, yet tends to get pushed to the side in favor of analytical, linear thinking in our society. Intuitive painting helps us access our inner wisdom so that expanded possibilities open up for us, whether we're doing the painting, or experiencing the art.
Intuitive Art literally re-wires our brain in a very positive way.
My Intuitive Art
With my intuitive art practice, sometimes intuition feels like a "pull" from my core to paint something. Or I notice something faintly in the brushstrokes on the canvas.
I've realized that following my intuition is very much like following a winding path where I can’t see very far ahead, yet at every turn, unexpected treasures appear. And this applies whether at the canvas or in life. I explore this intuitive process on my YouTube Channel, @lauraschrollart.

Fox showed up to play in my art journal! In the video I use my intuition to see the image of a fox in the brush strokes from a meditative/play layer, then paint it using my intuition throughout the whole process.
